Say things best left unsaid
They gather together
To form another
Head
Floating atop this head
Like a trouble-
filled thought bubble

Head atop head
Fizzling away again
Head atop head
Brewing something bad again

It’s sometimes gray, sometimes purple
And it’s filled with people
Oh, the strangest people
Falling to Earth from the highest steeples

Of churches built of black mist
And gloom amidst
Landscapes never kissed
By the sun
Or anyone

And from the corners of this head
Sprouts another head
And this one’s meaner than the rest
It won’t let me think or rest

Three heads stacked vertically
Intent on tormenting me
Three heads are three
Heads too many
So with some difficulty
I remove all three
