this was something of a kiss off recording. the song was probably written by doug hamilton and ken husted. i was gtting kicked out of the group and brought in to record a guide track on their new song for the new singer. at the time, the song represented everything i disliked at the time, but today i quite like it. i resented being groomed as a west coast springsteen, and so gave this song a mock springsteen attack. looking back on the band now, i regret the behavior on my part that led to my being fired. i really blew a great opportunity to go mainstream, but i was such a stubborn, stupid and snooty artisto punk....
