recording and photography was absolutely outlawed at seattles last exit on brooklyn by owner ir cisski, wh insisted on what happened in the exit stayed in the exit. but rob and i snuck a portable casette player under our coats and recorded this cover tune right before closing on the piano ear the back door. although most of the songs i wrote in the seventies had their first public performances at the last exits monday night music sessions, none of them were recorded. this is far from the best thing rob and i ever did, but it is the only recording at the exit, and that gives it some footnote to seattles musical history status.
