In my creation myth, humans were created as a hermaphrodite. But they complained of loneliness so the creater removed all female elements from their genetic code (symbolized in the bible as a rib because of its strandlike structure) and created a second sex. This all occured on the lush planet Venus, were many animal and plant forms also thrived in perpetual and eternal bliss. There was no death on Venus until someone decided to eat a rabbit. This so infuriated the creator that he exiled everything that lived to the planet east of Eden, where the main activity of animal life was decreed to be the chasing and eating of each other. It was a bloody planet, and death was its flag.
lyrics
There is a planet called Eden
In the Western skies
With budding life, it is bursting forth
And nothing ever dies
But in the East, hearts are torn
And eaten from the breast
We give a piece in tribute
to the devil and death
