those who sleep

tanks in the streets
resistance in vain
the germans are gone
and the russians remain

they maintained their innocence
til their last living breath
all are born guilty
and sentenced to death

dictators and ambassadors
attend the daily massacres
shoot at will
shoot to kill
bus drivers and their passengers

the war is over

passionless assasins
like sabbah sabbah hassan
fire at random into the crowd
make it bloody make it loud
never waste the time to aim
if they kill one of their own, its all the same
whether their coats are blue or red
we pay by the pound, not the head
