Hard to stay lost

the revolution began in cascadia
where you established a peoples bank
you printed alternative money
when the countrys economy sank
you elected your own chosen leaders
and established your own set of laws
disregarding the reckless amendments
that persecuted you all without cause

when the national gaurd and militia
surrounded you in the town square
and spoke to you with their machine guns
your screams penetrated the air
but there were more of you than they could handle

that rained down on all of their soldiers
till the last of their lackeys had died
