i was trying to get into a Beethoven state of mind. when I asked my wife if i got at all close, she said no, it sounds like jazz, and she hates jazz. so i figured if it sounded like jazz, id add a horn, and the new mix sounded more classical to me than the solo piano. so i split the mix and moved half left and half right. what to do about the middle? id been developing some crackpot ideas around the notion that every impresion a person makes on every person who crosses their path becomes one of the billions of alternate realities that comprise a persons composite exisance in eternity, so i jotted down some phrases and recited them. moody blues or procol harum style into the center of the mix.
