when she was dropped on her head she bounced up to the moon

and the moon sucked her in then the moon bounced her back
into the tumors and humors of a poets backpack

he fell into a coma but didnt go boom
he passed away quietly in a hospital room

it all on arms and drug trade with a hostile government

we were the lost generation of pussy hounds and queers
trying to make something of our last remaining years

lincoln was a slave owner who freed the southern slaves
lyndon johnson was a racist but he signed the civil righs bill

crazy joe was a hypocrite whose nose blew snot when he chattered
against white supremacy because he understood that black votes mattered

there really aint much left now of the boomer world that was
no mailman, no telephone, no record stores

everything for sale is sold only through amazon
and netflix makes the moves now, the cinemas are gone

like ghosts of war the boomers float into eternal mist
where black is always beautiful and here are no assassination lists

while down below on solid ground millennials carry the load
the banks have all their money and the president has the codes.
