these recording span the years 1973-2017, and were recorded in seattle, boston, los angeles, and peru. yet i think there is some kind of unity here...for the fourth and final volume of the notorious k-mart tapes. perhaps because the first two songs are the only remnants of a truly weird experimental period and the last three are from one of the last nights of music at seattles rainbow tavern, once the citys premier music showcase and in 2006 way past its heyday and on the verge of a hideous transformation into shiny college meatrack.
