I plan to work harder on my music this season than being content to let the lyrics carry the song. With Those October Feelings, which will be the title song from my first 50/90, I worked more on the melody than anything else, the lyrics being a fairly simple expression of a person who avoids things he once loved because he no longer experiences the feelings they once gave him.. so I wrote it with the idea of the music carrying the load of the song rather than simply supporting the lyric.

The tracks rumbled with feeling

I dont remember the feeling

Those October Feelings Never last
By the first of November

now it is easy to shed those October Feelings

when we were together
I trapped the feeling in the room
with that song
When I sang that song
I filled the air with feeling
But I cant sing that song no more
