I'd never guess you recorded those songs on your telephones
It sounds like you were in Nashville playing with the cream of the crop
Not in a rooming house singing all alone

I havent had a band since two thousand and five
The bus crashed on a mountain nobody was left alive
I was traveling by air
and when i showed up at the gig nobody was there
i played the show with my guitar and my vox
the bus went off the cliff and and my band is in the box

i wish i could take my band out of the box
theyre out there somewhere beneath an avalanche of rocks
wish i had real people in the studio with me
wish i could put it all back where it used to be
crouched over my computer with my guitar and my vox
